Q: What does the blue box with a number on every tune page mean?
A: This blue box tells you the shareprice of the last deal.

Q: There are offers on a tune, but I want to buy less than what is offered - What should I do?
A: Make a bid for a smaller amount of shares.

Q: I'm considering buying revenue shares of a tune… How should I assess if I'm going to get any money?
A:a) First, you should be aware that not all music earns money.
b) Secondly, even if a song earns money, there is no absolute guarantee that the money will be shared via TuneRights.
c) Look at the field: "Distributed by". If this field is blank (or "none"), it means that the song has no revenue source and no revenue has been deposited thus far.
d) If the "Distributed by" field says "manual", it means that the artist is responsible for reporting revenue manually.
e) If there is a name in the field (example: TuneCore, Rebeat or another distributor name) it means that TuneRights is receiving revenue automatically.

Q: How do I know how much a song has earned in the past?
A: On the tune page, check out the field: "total revenue earned". This is a total of all the revenue that has been reported via TuneRights. Money earned before the tune was registered with TuneRights is not reported. Be aware that past earnings don't necessarily affect future earning potential.

Q: I just found a song that I want to trade. How do I know that the artist is who they say they are?
A: Exercise caution when dealing with people you don't know personally. If you suspect shady activity, pls let us know!
