How to use TuneRights

Bands and artists

Register the ownership of your works with detailed ownership data - it is easy and free. Band members will know exactly how much of the work they own.

Free-agent collaborators

You can invite other creators to collaborate by giving out shares in an unfinished work. The share ownership is clear and professional. If money is needed to complete the song, the creators can sell part of the ownership to fans or supporters.

Remix artists

As a re-mix artist, you can give shares of your new tune to the musicians you have sampled. As the music earns money, revenue is distributed to the owners of the original works.

Support artists

You can browse for offers, or you can suggest your own deal (### number of shares for €€€ amount of money).

Collect revenue

You will get your share of the money that the artist reports through the TuneRights accounting system (see below). You may support more bands, or request to remove earnings. If no money is reported through the TuneRights accounting system, you will not receive any revenue.

Non-financial payback

When you support TuneRights artists you are helping to build a new music culture that respects musicians's rights. Creators appreciate your support. In some cases, the artist may offer you non-financial payback.

Automatic revenue distribution

Artists can choose from a variety of distribution channels and earnings will be automatically distributed amongst shareholders within 10 days of reaching the TuneRights accounting system.

Manual revenue distribution

Creators who already have their songs distributed may choose to report earnings to shareholders manually. With only a few clicks a content owner can easily distribute earnings according to the registered share ownership of individual tunes.

Here is an example of a tune that receives manual revenue deposits from the Tune Manager.
